Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Application Integration Lead to play a pivotal role as our firm grows through mergers and acquisitions. This individual will have a strong background in the accounting industry, along with experience in project management and business analysis. The ideal candidate will lead and manage multiple projects focused on consolidating line-of-business applications, converting data, and evaluating and implementing new solutions across our organization.
We are looking for a self-sufficient, motivated, and organized individual who excels in both team environments and independent situations. Passion for the role and a drive to help advance the company are essential, along with the willingness to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, resources, and timelines.
• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to critical timelines.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Facilitate meetings and working sessions with internal stakeholders and vendors to strategize, gather information, provide updates, and execute tasks.
Business Analysis:
• Understand current processes in tax, audit, and accounting services to effectively manage change.
• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable project tasks.
• Conduct data analysis to support data conversion efforts.
System Selection and Implementation:
• Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate and select systems and solutions that meet business needs.
• Lead the rollout of new solutions, ensuring successful deployment and user adoption.
Accounting Systems Expertise:
• Leverage knowledge of accounting services, practices, and systems to guide project direction and execution.
• Serve as a resource for employees on the effective use of business systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and business analysis within the accounting industry.
• Proven track record in managing system integration and process improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of accounting industry software and systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• PMP or CBAP certification is a plus.
